Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy lists exactly which cookies Joe Fortune Review AU uses, who sets them, what each one does and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly. You stay in control: every optional cookie can be switched off in your browser or through our consent banner.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device through your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads and visits, such as your language choice or whether you have already dismissed the consent banner. Cookies cannot carry viruses and cannot read other files on your device. Some are set by us ("first-party") and some by services we use such as Google ("third-party"). By lifespan they are either session cookies, which vanish when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which stay for a set time. The table below is the complete list we use.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary cookies make the site work: navigation, security checks and remembering your consent choice. They cannot be turned off without breaking basic functions, and they carry no marketing data. Analytics cookies tell us, in aggregate and anonymously, which pages are popular and where visitors come from, so we can improve our reviews. Functional cookies remember preferences such as your chosen language. Marketing/affiliate cookies record only that a click-through to a casino came from us; they do not build an ad profile and do not follow you with adverts elsewhere.

Third-party providers
Google Analytics (Google LLC). We run GA4 to measure traffic, with IP anonymisation on. It records page views, session length and traffic sources in aggregate. You can block it with Google's official opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; Google's own policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.). We use Cloudflare for security and faster loading. Its cookies are technical, contain no personal data and are not used to track you. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Affiliate networks. When you click through to a casino, the operator's affiliate network sets a cookie holding only a technical click identifier - not your name, email or any personal detail. It exists so the programme works and self-deletes within 30 to 90 days. More on this in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Managing cookies in your browser
Chrome: Settings - Privacy and security - Cookies and other site data (guide). Firefox: Settings - Privacy & Security - Cookies and Site Data (guide). Safari: Settings - Privacy, where cross-site tracking is blocked by default (guide). Edge: Settings - Privacy, search, and services - Cookies (guide). On mobile, the same controls live under your browser's settings.
If you switch cookies off
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site, such as remembering your consent choice. Turning off analytics changes nothing for you but means we lose the statistics we use to improve content. Blocking marketing cookies leaves the whole site usable, though click-throughs to casinos may not be attributed to us. Either way, all of our review content stays fully readable without any cookies, and you can change your settings whenever you like. Questions? See Contact Us.
